Honolulu Community College, established as Territorial Trade School in Palama in 1920, is located in Honolulu, Hawaii. It was named Honolulu Technical School in 1955, and became part of the University of Hawaii in 1965. The school was given its present name in 1966. The main campus of the college is more than 20 acres.
The college is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and offers Associate in Applied Science, Associate in Science, Associate in Technical Studies degrees and shorter certificate programs in several technical-occupational areas.
Honolulu Community College has an active student life and hosts several clubs and organizations for the overall development of the students.
