Hope International University

Hope International University is a Christian University located in Fullerton, California. The institute was established on September 1, 1997, although its history traces back to 1928. It was earlier known as the Pacific Christian College. The university is composed of the Pacific Christian College, the School of Graduate and Professional Studies and the School of Graduate Studies. Hope offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in diverse areas of study. Special international programs are also available.

Hope sponsors support services for its students, including the Hope Counseling Center, and Del & Ann Harris Fitness Center.

Housing and Meals

Hope International provides on-campus housing for 479 of its 835 (full-time) students (as of 2008-2009). The school requires freshmen to live on campus.

Students may purchase a meal plan which includes 19 meals weekly.

Athletics

The school is in the Golden State Athletic Conference for major sports.

The school offers financial aid for athletes. Of students receiving athletic financial aid, 62 male students received the aid (men were 51% of those receiving aid) and 60 women were awarded financial aid based on athletics (representing 49% of students receiving such aid) .
