Hudson Valley Community College

Hudson Valley Community College, also known as HVCC, is an associated, two-year college located in Troy, Rensselaer County, New York. It was established in the year 1953. The student body consists of more than 80% of students from the local area. The remaining student population comes from other U.S states and over 30 countries.

HVCC’s campus has two popular locations, the writing center and the learning assistance center. The college offers more than 70 academic degree and certificate programs through the following schools:

  • The School of Business
  • The School of Engineering and Industrial Technologies
  • The School of Health Sciences
  • The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences

HVCC has more than 50 active student clubs and organizations. The college is ranked the largest undergraduate college in terms of enrollment in the Capital District. Hudson Valley also offers Distance Learning Programs.
