Overview

Huntington University was established in 1897. It is a private college of liberal arts and is situated in Huntington, Indiana. It was initially opened as the Central College. In 1917, the name was changed to Huntington College, and it finally became the Huntington University in 2005. The institution offers a number of associate's and bachelor's degrees in more than 65 academic concentrations. Huntington University also offers master's degrees through its graduate school. In addition, it has programs for studying abroad and adult education.

Huntington University sponsors various activities and organizations for the overall development of its students. The campus is home to student organizations, including the Student Senate and the Student Activities Board.
