Overview

Illinois Eastern Community Colleges Lincoln Trail College, also known as IECC Lincoln Trail College or LTC, is located near the Illinois-Indiana border. The college is one of four colleges that are part of the Illinois Eastern Community Colleges District . The other colleges in the district include Frontier Community College, Olney Central College, and Wabash Valley College. The four colleges are spread over a 3000 square mile area in southeastern Illinois.

IECC's four colleges were formed during the 1960s and 70s. Approximately three-quarters of the student body is enrolled part-time. IECC Lincoln offers certificates, academic degrees, and transfer programs in various fields. Many students become employed within the IECC District region, which includes businesses within agriculture, healthcare, manufacturing, processing, and distribution.

IECC Lincoln Trail College has an active student life. It hosts student clubs and organizations including the Student Senate and Phi Theta Kappa. IECC Lincoln Trail College’s athletic teams are known as the Statesmen. They participate in sports such as basketball for men and women, baseball and softball.
