Immaculata University

Immaculata University, established in 1920 is a catholic university located in Immaculata, Pennsylvania. Originally founded as a women's college named Villa Maria College,it was given its present name, Immaculata University, in 1929. The campus covers over 370 acres. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in diverse areas of study to the students.

It has a prominent athletics department. The women’s basketball team participated and achieved the top national title and was Basketball champion from 1972 to 1974 in women's collegiate sports. Their sports team is known as the Mighty Macs. The university has an active student life and it organizes various events and provides an array of services for the overall development of the students.
