Overview
Iowa Central Community College was founded in 1966. It is located in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Apart from its main campus, the college also has satellite campuses in Storm Lake and Webster City. This community college offers a wide variety of degrees and certificate programs in diverse areas of study. Some of the academic departments of the college are the department of business, transportation technology, industrial technology and language arts, humanities and social sciences.
Iowa Central also offers several scholarship programs for its students. The college includes a number of on-campus student organizations, such as the Student Senate, Multicultural Student Union, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and many more.
Iowa Central's athletics teams participate in a wide variety of sports like baseball, cross country, volleyball, basketball, rodeo, soccer, track and field, swimming, wrestling, softball, golf and football, which are nicknamed the Tritons.
