Overview

Ivy Tech Community College Northwest, Gary campus, is located in Indiana. The college is also referred to as Ivy Tech and has 25 campuses all over Indiana. The college was established in 1963 but the name of the college was officially changed to Ivy Tech State College in 1995. Ivy Tech Community College has 8 schools which include:

  • School of Applied Sciences and Engineering Technology

  • School of Fine Arts and Design

There are many clubs and organizations in which the students can participate. These include Phi Theta Kappa, the Student Government Association, the Student Ambassadors, the Student Leadership Academy and Kappa Beta Delta.
