Established in 1961, J.F Drake State Technical College is a public institution of higher education that enables the students to pursue technical and vocational courses. The college is a member of Alabama College System. Located in Huntsville, the campus is spread across an area of 30 acres. The college offers degrees including associate’s of applied technology, diplomas and certificates.
J F Drake State Technical College is home to several student organizations including Student Government Association, Phi Beta Lambda Business Fraternity, Skills USA, VOL-ATECH volunteer Organization, and National Technical-Honor society. Additionally, there are student services offered including career guidance, counseling, tutoring, job placement assistance and academic advising.
