Overview

Jackson State Community College, also known as JSCC, was founded in 1965. It is a public community college situated in Jackson, Tennessee. The college offers a variety of programs in Arts, Science, professional and technical studies. It also offers remote learning opportunities through online courses. The college operates several other learning centers located in Lexington (Henderson Center), Savannah (Hardin County Center) and Humboldt (Higher Education Center). JSCC is one of the largest community colleges in the Regent Systems.

JSCC has an active student administration working for the overall development of the students. The campus is home to a variety of clubs and organizations including an art club, a computer club and a Biology club. It also includes a number of fraternities and sororities.
