James H Faulkner State Community College has an active student life and hosts numerous clubs and organizations. Phi Beta Lambda and Phi Theta Kappa are the college's honor societies, and the Association of Computational Machinery, Baptist Campus Ministries, and Community Choir are among the other social organizations. The college's sports teams are nicknamed the Sun Chiefs, and they are members of the NJCAA. The sports teams participate in baseball, basketball, golf, softball, and volleyball.
