Overview

Jefferson Davis Community College is a comprehensive community college located in Brewton, Alabama. It was established in the year 1965. JDCC was named in honor of the President of the Confederacy, Jefferson Davis. The college also operates a campus in Atmore. JDCC offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. It also offers continuing education programs to its students.

JDCC has an active student life. The campus is home to a wide variety of clubs, organizations and honor societies, including Phi Beta Lambda, Phi Theta Kappa, the Student Government Association, Honors Program and Psi Beta. Their official mascot is the Warhawk.
