Overview
Johnson State College is located in Johnson, Vermont, United States. It was established in 1828 by John Chesamore as Johnson Academy. Johnson State College was one of the first schools in Vermont to introduce electives.
The college campus spreads across an area of 350 acres and comprises of more than 10 buildings. More than 1,500 students enroll in Johnson State College every year. The college offers a large number of associate, bachelor, master, certificates, and teacher licensure programs to students.
Johnson State College has more than 30 clubs and student leadership programs. The college's popular clubs and organizations include the Dodgeball Club, Martial Arts Club, Film Club, and Outing Club. The athletics teams of Johnson State College are nicknamed the Badgers.
