Juniata College was established in 1876 by the Church of the Brethren. It is a private co-educational college of liberal arts and is located in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. The campus of the College consists of more than 45 buildings that are spread over an area of 800 acres. The enrollment of Juniata has national as well as international students representing over 25 states and territories in the U.S and 25 countries worldwide. The college offers bachelor's degrees in several fields of study which include arts and science.
Juniata College is home to more than 90 recognized students clubs and organizations. Some of them are Health Occupations Students of America, Emergency Services & Safety Club, Mixed Martial Arts and Self Defense, Program for Area Residents Student Organization, and Coed Indoor Field Hockey Club among others.

Housing and MealsJuniata provides on-campus housing for 1,208 of its 1,466 (full-time) students (as of 2008-2009). The school requires freshmen to live on campus. Students may purchase a meal plan which includes 21 meals weekly.
