Overview

Kalamazoo College, also known as K, is an innovative private liberal arts college, located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States. K was founded in the year 1833. The college is one of the 100 oldest academic institutions in United States. The campus of K is spread across an area of 60 acres. K offers over 30 major and minor programs in several subjects including fine arts, humanities and science subjects. It also offers several special educational programs like the study abroad program and experiential education along with internship facility.

The College has an active campus life. There are several student groups, associations and organizations in the campus. Kalamazoo College Republicans, Model International Organization, Mock Trial Organization and Mud and Mayhem Society are some of the student associations and clubs operating in the college campus. ‘The Cauldron' is an independent self governed literary magazine published by the students.
