Kansas City Art Institute

The Kansas City Art Institute was started in 1885 as a Sketch Club formed by art enthusiasts, and later came to be known as Kansas City Art Association and School of Design. Now known as Kansas City Art Institute, abbreviated as KCAI, it has a campus area of 15 acres located in Kansas City, Missouri. It is a private, four-year college specializing in fine arts and design.

KCAI offers the students with bachelor’s courses in areas such as animation, sculpture, fiber, studio art in creative writing, photography, graphic design and print making. The college also offers the students with exchange programs.

KCAI has a recreation center for the students as well as student’s resource center facilities. The college offers financial aid in the form of institutional scholarships like KCAI merit award, and KCAI competitive scholarships.
