Kent State University Salem Campus

Kent State University, established in 1910 and also known as Kent and KSU, is one of America's largest university systems, the third largest university in Ohio and the largest residential university, located in northeast Ohio, USA. Spread over eight campuses and covering a land area of 866 acres, KSU offers associate’s, bachelor’s, master's degree programs and doctoral programs in several subjects. The college is divided into the following academic divisions:

  • College of Architecture and Environmental Design
  • College of Arts and Science
  • College of Nursing
  • College of Communication and Information

KSU also has an active campus life. Student clubs and organizations like Kent Inter Hall Council, Undergraduate Student Government and Graduate Student Senate operate in the campus organizing various student activities. Delta Chi, Delta Lambda Ph and Delta Tau Delta are some of the social fraternities. The college also has a student-run publication and radio station.
