King College is a private, independently governed comprehensive college located in Bristol, Tennessee. It was founded in 1867 and today sits upon an area of 135 acres. It offers associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in several subjects, including arts, science and business studies. In addition the college also offers several pre-professional programs. The college is organized into the following academic schools:

- School of Arts and Sciences
- School of Business and Economics
- School of Education
- School of Nursing
King College has an active campus life. There are several student clubs and organizations operating in the campus, including the Kappa Epsilon Honors Society, The Guild Players, the History Political Science Club and Symphonic Band. ‘The Kayseean’ is the student-run newspaper of the college.

Housing and MealsKing provides on-campus housing for 493 of its 1,339 (full-time) students (as of 2007). Students may purchase a meal plan which includes 21 meals weekly.
King AthleticsKing is in the Appalachian Athletic Conference for major sports. King offers financial aid for athletes. Of students receiving athletic financial aid, 164 male students received the aid (men were 59% of those receiving aid) and 115 women were awarded financial aid based on athletics (representing 41% of students receiving such aid) .
