Klamath Community College was founded in 1996 by the voters of Klamath County. Initially, classes were held in rented campuses through contracts with the Oregon Institute of Technology, Rogue Community College and Portland Community College. The institute finally moved to a 57-acre campus in Klamath Falls, Oregon in 2000. More than 1,000 students enroll in KCC every year.
Klamath Community College offers a large number of associate’s degrees in arts, science, general studies and applied science. Students can also earn certificate programs in accounting, management, marketing/sales, health services, criminal justice, welding and technical studies, among others.
Phi Theta Kappa, Students in Free Enterprise, the Science Club, Veterans Club, the Asian Cultural Exchange and the KCC Crusaders are some of the clubs and organizations available to the students.
