Overview

Knox College is a four-year, co-educational, private liberal arts college located in Galesburg, Illinois, United States. It was established in the year 1837 as Knox Manual Labor College by anti-slavery social reformers. It was renamed as Knox College in 1857. Forbes Magazine (2008 edition) ranked Knox College 16th among the best Liberal Arts college category. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study.

Knox College has an active student life. The campus is home to several clubs and organizations for the overall development of the students. Some of the popular ones include Anthropology and Sociology Club, Pre-Health Careers Club, Habitat for Humanity, and Non-Traditional Students. The campus also hosts Greek organizations governed by Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Council.
