Overview
Kuyper College, located in Grand Rapids,Michigan, was established in 1939 and was formerly the Reformed Bible Institute. Originally, the college offered a three - year curriculum. Later in 1970, it changed its curriculum to a 4 year program and became Reformed Bible College or RBC. The college adopted its present name on April 21, 2006. The college, which has a campus that covers more than 30 acres, offers certificate courses, associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in the areas of communication studies, international business, religious education, youth ministry and public relations.
Kuyper College is a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association. The sports teams include men’s and women’s basketball, and their athletic teams are nicknamed the Cougars. The Student Government of Kuyper College plays an active role in student affairs and voices the needs and requirements of the students.
