Labouré College is located in the Dorchester region of Boston, Massachusetts. It is a non residential, catholic college, founded in 1892. It was originally known as the Carney Hospital Training School for Nurses, but after merging with two other colleges run by Daughters of Charity it was renamed Catherine Labouré School of Nursing. Till 1997 it was sponsored by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul but is now sponsored by Caritas Christi Health Care.
Labouré College focuses on providing associate’s and bachelor’s degree in a wide range of topics related to the health sector. The college also provides certificates on a varied range of health sector related programs. Some of the courses offered by the college include nursing, electroneuro diagnostic technology, health information technology, nutrition and food management, radiation therapy and polysomnographic technology.
Labouré College has an extensive library network for the benefit of the students. The college also offers financial aid such as Labouré College scholarship for Caritas Christi Employees, Catholic High School scholarship and the Labouré College scholarship program for the students.
