Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe Community College is also known as LCOOCC. It is a tribal community, non-profit college located in Hayward, Wisconsin. The college was chartered in 1982 by the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Governing Board. The college offers certificates and associate’s degrees in diverse areas of study. Some such areas of study include human services, casino operations management, business administration, web page development, and carpentry.
There are several student-run organizations at Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe Community College such as Student Senate, Makwa Drama Club, American Indian Science and Engineering Society and Men’s Talking Circle. The college offers financial assistance to the students. Additionally, the students are also awarded scholarships according to their merits.
