Overview
Lake Forest College was founded by Reverend Robert W. Patterson, in 1857, and is a liberal arts college located in Lake Forest, Illinois. The campus of the university is spread across an area of 107-acres. The College offers over 15 departmental majors in a various streams of study. The student body represents national as well as international students from over 45 states in the U.S and 65 countries worldwide. Opportunities of studying abroad are also facilitated by the institution.
Lake Forest College houses a number of active clubs and organizations for the overall development of the students. Some of these are Students Promoting Intelligent Choices Everyday, International Student Organization, Hwa Rang Hapkido Club, and the Students Against Rape. The Sororities and Fraternities hosted by the college are Kappa Alpha Theta, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Lambda Chi Alpha, and Delta Chi among others.
