Lamar Community College was established in 1937 in Lamar, Colorado. The campus is spread across an area of more than 110 acres. The institution awards associate’s degrees in arts, science, general studies and applied science. Students can choose from courses in the fields of education, graphic design, cosmetology and medicine, among others. Online learning courses are also offered by the college.
Lamar Community College supports a large number of student clubs and organizations, including the Business & Technology Club, the Cosmetology Skills Club, the LCC Non-Traditional/Adult Student Organization, the Nursing Student Organization and Phi Theta Kappa.
