Lambuth University

Lambuth University traces its roots to the Memphis Conference Female Institution which was chartered on December 2, 1843. It became a coeducational institute in 1923, and the name was changed to Lambuth College. On July 1, 1991, it came to be known as Lambuth University. The campus is spread across 50 acres in Jackson, Tennessee.

Lambuth University confers the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Music degrees. Students can choose from over 40 majors that are offered through the following 6 schools:

  • School of Social Sciences

The Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Kappa Sigma, and Sigma Phi Epsilon are some of the Greek letter organizations hosted by Lambuth University. Students are also involved in other clubs and organizations like the American Chemical Society, American Society of Interior Designers, The Concert Band, The Jazz Band, The Lambuth Theatre, and The Lambuth University Dance Team.
