Overview

Lansing Community College, also referred to as LCC, was established in 1957 to meet the growing demand for technical and specialized education in the Greater Lansing area. The main campus covers over 40 acres in downtown Lansing, Michigan. LCC also offers another West Campus in Delta Township, which opened in 2004.

LCC offers a number of degree and certificate programs. Some of the academic departments of the college are humanities, aviation, computer, foreign language, and manufacturing engineering technology. LCC also offers many scholarships and awards every year for qualified students including the Student Leadership Academy Service Scholarships, Honors Program Awards, and more than 150 designated scholarships.

LCC offers many student clubs and organizations such as the Administrative Professionals Club, Fashion Klub, International Club, People for Positive Social Change, Phi Theta Kappa, Vision of Christ Campus Ministry, Student Sonographers Association, and many more.
