Overview

The Junior College Department of Lassen Union High School District was established in May, 1925. In March 1965, a part of this high school district was separated and began operating independently as Lassen Community College. The college campus spreads across 165 acres of land in Susanville, California, United States. It is under the California Community Colleges system.

A number of associate degrees and certificate programs are offered to students of Lassen Community College. Courses are available in various fields including accounting, agriculture, automotive technology, art, and biological science.

The students of Lassen Community College are members of a number of social clubs and organizations. Among those available on campus are the Welding Club, Skiing Club, Spirit Quad, Rodeo Club, Journalism Club, and Gunsmith Guild.
