Lesley University is a private university located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The college was originally established by Edith Lesley in 1909 as The Lesley School. It was granted the status of a university in 2001. The university offers more than 20 undergraduate majors and more than 90 adult bachelors, masters, certificates of advanced graduate study and Ph.D. programs. It is organized into the following academic units:

Lesley University fields a variety of men’s and women’s sports teams. They are members of the New England Collegiate Conference and their official mascot is the Lynx. The campus is home to several student clubs and organizations.
