Overview

Lewis and Clark Community College is located in Godfrey, Illinois. It was established in 1970 on the site of Monticello College. After Monticello College closed down in 1971, its scenic 215-acre campus became the primary campus for L&C. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. The college enrolls more than 25,000 credit and non-credit students every semester.

L&C’s campus is home to several student clubs and organizations. Some of these organizations are Black Student Association, The Asian Pop Culture Club, The Green Living Club and Phi Theta Kappa. Its sports teams are nicknamed the Trailblazers.
