Overview

Lincoln Land Community College was established on September 23, 1968 and is situated in Springfield, Illinois. In 1974, the main campus of the college moved to its current location. In addition to its main campus, the college has learning centers in Taylorville, Litchfield, Jacksonville and Beardstown. The academic departments of LLCC are:

There are various student clubs and organizations at LLCC, including the Animal Evaluation Club, Black Student Union, Christian Student Fellowship, Ceramics Club, Feminist Activist Coalition, International Club, Phi Theta Kappa, Student Radiographers Association and the Muslim Student Association.

LLCC is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association and competes in the Mid-West Athletic Conference. Its sports teams are known as the Loggers.
