Overview

Lincoln University of Missouri is a land-grant university located in Jefferson City, Missouri, United States. It was established in 1866 as Lincoln Institute by members of the 62nd and 65th United States Colored Infantry. U.S. News and World Report's 2007 edition ranked Lincoln University third for economic diversity, fifth for campus ethnic diversity, and ninth for maximum international students among master's level universities in the Midwest. The university offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. It is organized into the following schools and colleges:

  • College of Natural Science, Mathematics and Technology, Cooperative Extension and Research
  • School of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education

Lincoln University of Missouri has an active student life. There are several on-campus clubs and organizations as well as fraternities and sororities. Among them are the Community Connection of Lincoln University (CCLU), Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Fraternity (KKP), and Residence Hall Association (RHA).
