Lincoln University Of Pennsylvania

Lincoln University of Pennsylvania, also known as LU, is the first degree-granting, historically black university in the United States located in southern Chester County, Pennsylvania. The university was chartered in 1854 as Ashmun Institute.

The main campus of LU covers an area of more than 400 acres. The university presently enrolls approximately 2,000 students. LU is divided into the following academic schools and colleges:

  • School of Graduate Studies

Lincoln University of Pennsylvania is home to several clubs and organizations. Some of them are the Duece Deuce Drill Team, Lincoln University Gospel Choir, Lincoln University Jazz Ensemble, and Student Leader Network.
