Linfield College

Linfield College is located in McMinnville, Oregon, United States. It was established in 1858 as the Baptist College at McMinnville. Later on, the college's name was changed to McMinnville College. It adopted its present name in 1922 and was named after Rev. George Fisher Linfield, a Baptist minister. Linfield College enrolls more than 2000 students annually.

Linfield College supports a number of student clubs including the American Sign Language Club, Computer Science Club, Alpha Epsilon Delta, Global Action Club, Linfield Conservation Corps, Linfield Society of Undergraduate Chemists, Multicultural Student Club, French Club, and Bellydance Club.

Linfield College participates in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III. The athletic teams are called the Wildcats, and they compete in various sports such as cross-country, basketball, softball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, track and field, swimming, golf, and tennis.
