Overview

Lone Star College System, the new name of North Harris Montgomery Community College District, is a publicly funded, two-year institution. It was created as the North Harris County College in 1972 and renamed the North Harris Montgomery Community College District in 1991.

LSCS offers degrees and programs in business, music, computer science, criminal justice, Mexican-American studies and speech communication. LSCS enrolls students in the following campuses:
