Long Island Business Institute

The Long Island Business Institute is commonly known as LIBI and was founded in 1968. It is located in Commack, New York. The New York State Board of Regents certified LIBI as an occupational college in 1995. Degrees, diplomas and certificate programs are offered to LIBI students in diverse areas of study including court reporting, office technology, business management and accounting. Apart from the Long Island campus at Commack, classes are also offered at the LIBI Queens campus in Flushing.

The Long Island Business Institute sponsors the Web Design Club, Multi-Cultural Club, Small Business Club and the Film Club, among others. The students also have access to financial aid, student services and academic advice.
