Overview

Lord Fairfax Community College was founded in 1970 as a comprehensive public institution of higher education. It serves the Shenandoah Valley and Piedmont regions of Virginia. LFCC offers a wide variety of associate degrees and certificate programs in areas like administrative support, engineering, fine arts, business, healthcare and information systems technology. Transfer programs to 4-year institutes are also provided by this college.

More than 7,000 credit students enroll in LFCC’s professional development industry and business courses every year. Distance learning courses are also available. Lord Fairfax Community College offers courses through the following campuses:

  • Fauquier Campus
  • Luray-Page County Center
  • Middletown Campus

LFCC sponsors a number of student clubs and organizations, including Phi Beta Lambda, Anglo-Celtic Club, Fine and Performing Arts Club, FUEL Ministry Club, History Club, Phi Theta Kappa, Rotoract Club, Forensics and Scientific Society groups.
