Overview

Los Medanos College is a two-year, public community college located in Pittsburg, California. It was established in 1974. LMC also has an extension in Brentwood. It enrolls more than 12,000 students per term. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. LMC’s campus is spread across an area of 120 acres.

LMC has an active and vibrant student life. There are several clubs and organizations on campus as well, including Student Music Association, Soldiers of Christ, and Voyagers. The athletic teams of LMC are nicknamed the Mustangs.
