Overview

Louisiana State University at Eunice, also referred to as LSUE, is located in Eunice, Louisiana, United States. The university was established by the state legislature in the year 1964. LSUE offers students associate degrees and technical diplomas in various areas of study including arts, computer information technology, management, and nursing. Students are also offered continuing education programs.

Among the student organizations of LSUE are the Student Government Association, Chi Sigma Tau, Bengal Belles Dance Team, Phi Theta Kappa and Paralegal Society. Students publish an on-campus newspaper called "The Bayou Bengal." The university's athletic teams are known as the Bengals. Students of LSUE take part in sports like baseball, softball, and basketball.
