Overview

Louisiana Technical College-Teche Area Campus is one of the branch campuses of Louisiana Technical College or LTC. The Teche Area Campus, which is located in New Iberia, Louisiana, was established as the Iberia Trades School by the 1950 Louisiana Legislature. The institute was renamed Louisiana Technical College, Teche Area Campus in 1995. LCT - Teche Area Campus offers programs in diverse fields of study such as accounting technology, cosmetology, machine tool technology, and office systems technology. The campus covers more than 35 acres.

The students of Louisiana Technical College-Teche Area Campus are involved in various organizations such as SkillsUSA, the NVT Honor Society, Phi Beta Lambda, the Information Technology Club, and the Student Government Association.

LTC - Teche Area Campus participates in various financial aid programs including Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG), Louisiana's Tuition Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS), and the Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership (LEAP).
