Overview

Lourdes College is located in Sylvania, Ohio, United States. It was founded in the year 1958 by the Sisters of St. Francis. That same year, the Sisters of St. Francis established another school with the same name. It originally served the purpose of educating the sisters of the Franciscan community. Lourdes College offers degrees and certificate programs in various fields of study including environmental science, liberal arts, theological studies, art history, and psychology. There are three academic schools under this college, which are:

  • School of Arts and Sciences

  • School of Professional Studies

Lourdes College has various student clubs and organizations including Phi Alpha Theta, Black Student Union, Future Educators Association, Student Government Association, Sigma Theta Tau, and Young Democrats.
