Overview

Lubbock Christian University, also known as LCU, is a private, Christian university located in Lubbock, Texas, United States. LCU was established in the year 1957 and is associated with the Churches of Christ. The university offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study.

LCU has an active Greek life. There are several fraternities and sororities on campus including Zeta Gamma, Kappa Phi Kappa, Kyodai, Alpha Chi Delta, and Lambda Omega Alpha. The campus is home to several clubs and organizations based on the varied interests of the students. The university's student-run, online newspaper is called "DusterToday."
