Luna Community College

The Luna Community College, also known as LCC was established in 1969. Named for Maximiliano Luna, the college was founded as the Luna Area Vocational Technical School. In 1970, it was renamed as the Luna Vocational Technical Institute, and it was given its current name on December 18, 2000. The college offers educational programs in the fields of health sciences, technologies, humanities, and business and professional studies.

The sports teams of the college, known as the Rough Riders, participate in sports including softball, and baseball. The college offers financial support through loans and scholarships, and students can also take advantage of the LCC’s Roadrunner Scholarship or the Alliance for Minority Participation Scholarship.
