Overview

Lycoming College is located in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, United States. It was established in the year 1812. The college's former name was Williamsport Academy for the Education of Youth in the English and other Languages, in the Useful Arts, Science and Literature. It is among the 50 oldest higher learning institutions in the United States. Students are offered degrees in various areas of study including actuarial mathematics, accounting, archaeology, business administration, medicine, and international studies.

Lycoming College has many student clubs and organizations. Some of the popular ones are Amnesty International, Circle K International, Habitat for Humanity, Commuter Student Organization, Lycoming College Democrats, Lycoming College Fly Fishing Club, Creative Arts Society, and Raging Stitches.
