Overview
Lynchburg College is located in Lynchburg, Virginia, United States. It was founded in 1903 by Dr. Josephus Hopwood, a pioneer in Christian coeducation, and was named Virginia Christian College. Lynchburg College has six degree-granting schools, which are:

Lynchburg College is home to a range of student clubs and organizations including Delta Sigma Pi, Society of Physics Students, Omicron Delta Kappa, Methodist Student Fellowship, Phi Delta Theta, and International Society. Students publish an on-campus newspaper called the "Lynchburg Current."
