Overview

Lyon College is an independent, co-educational, and Liberal Arts College located in Batesville, Arkansas. It was established in 1872 and is the oldest independent college in the state. The campus is spread across an area of more than 135 acres. The student body is diverse and includes students from over 20 states, and over 12 countries. Lyon College offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study.

Lyon College has an active student life. The campus hosts more than 40 student clubs and organizations. Some of them include Art Students Society, Catholic Campus Ministries, and Black Student Association. The students also actively participate in the several Greek organizations in the campus. Some of the Greek organizations are Alpha Chi, Alpha Xi Delta, Chi Beta Phi, and Zeta Beta Tau.
