Overview

Malone University is located in Canton, Ohio, United States. It was founded in 1892 by Walter and Emma Malone as Cleveland Bible College. In 1957, it was renamed Malone College, and then Malone Unviersity, in honor of it founders.

As of fall 2008, the university had a total enrollment of more than 2,000 students. The campus covers over 80 acres and comprises of more than 20 buildings. Malone University is divided into the following academic schools and colleges:

  • School of Nursing
  • School of Theology

Malone University has several on-campus clubs and organizations. Some of them are Alpha Gamma Chapter of Sigma Zeta, Financial Management Association, Health and Human Performance Society, and Kappa Delta Pi Education Honorary. The college's student body is diverse and represents more than 30 states and 15 countries.

Athletics

School sports include football (Mid-States Football Association), basketball (American Mideast Conference), baseball (American Mideast Conference), and track (American Mideast Conference).
