Manchester College

Founded in 1860, Manchester College was originally known as the Roanoke Classical Seminary. The United Brethren Church in Roanoke established Manchester College. It is situated in North Manchester, Indiana. Degrees and certificates are offered to MC students in over 55 fields of study, including accounting, biotechnology, communication studies, elementary education, journalism and medical technology.

Manchester College's students are involved in a wide variety of clubs and organizations. These include the Black Student Union, the Manchester College International Association, Habitat for Humanity, the Manchester College Environmental Group, the Newman Catholic Fellowship and Manchester Singers. MC also produces a student-run newspaper known as “Oak Leaves.” They also participate in sports like basketball, cross country, soccer, tennis and track and field.
