Manhattan Area Technical College is located in Manhattan, Kansas. The college was established in 1965. Commonly abbreviated as MATC, it was originally known as Manhattan area Vocational Training School. It has been known by its current name since 1996. The college offers technical training to students in a variety of fields, including automotive collision repair, computer aided drafting technology, welding technology, practical nursing and building trades. The college also offers continuing education and customized training programs to its students.
