Overview

Marietta College is a coeducational, private college located in Marietta, Ohio, United States. It was founded in the year 1835. The campus encompasses nearly three city blocks in Marietta. The institution offers major degrees in more than 40 fields and many minors with a strong liberal arts foundation. The college also provides opportunities to study abroad.

Marietta College has a notable Greek life. A few of the fraternities and sororities that it hosts are Lambda Chi Alpha, Delta Tau Delta, Alpha Xi Delta, and Delta Tau Delta, among others.
